SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is actually alarmed concerning the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis.
